5 Ways to Show People That They Matter

You have something everyone wants. Hjalmar Soderberg wrote one of my favorite quotes in his novel Doctor Glas. "People want to be loved; failing that admired; failing that feared; failing that hated and despised. They want to evoke some sort of sentiment. The soul shudders before oblivion and seeks connection at any price.” So much of the joy and pain in the world is explained by this one brilliant insight. People need each other. They need you. This week, your actions of simple help revolve around showing people that they matter; that they are loved. Your attention and kindness is priceless to those lucky enough to cross paths with you.
