5 Simple Ways to Help this Week be Stupendous

Welcome to another week of making life brighter!

We are wired to experience joy when we help each other. Science and theology join hands and smile in complete agreement on this fact. Our joy’s most natural expression is to reach out and help spread it. It’s a wonderful fact, however, to find out that this also works in reverse. It’s nearly impossible not to feel happier when we help others. The world will be brighter this week for you and those lucky enough to cross your path, because you simply choose to help!

 For the week of September 23 - September 27 

Actions: The weekly 5 (Can you hit the elusive quintuple?)

  • Monday - Buy a box of snacks and leave it in your car. You’ll probably find opportunities to offer one to someone who looks hungry this week.

  • Tuesday -  Let a mom or dad who is doing a great job parenting know that they are.

  • Wednesday -  Use your social media or email to let people know about a friend or acquaintance’s small business, blog, or website. It’ll make their day.

  • Thursday -  Go out of your way to welcome new people to your neighborhood, school, work, etc.

  • Friday -  Help do something around the house or at work that you don’t normally do. (Credit to simple.help-er Carol Boldman for this one :)
